The Lead Tenor C Pan is a Professional Grade Steeldrum
or Pan as it is called in Trinidad & Tobago. It has masterly handcrafted
by a Master Pan maker named Gabriel "Doyle" Robely. The Pan is Chromatic tuning and the lowest note is
C . If you know some music theory as in the Circle of Fifths, you can
figure the Notation of the Steeldrum since it is now Standardized.
Otherwise I can send you a Tuning Diagram which depicts
the placement of the Notes. You may wish to either use "Stick
Ons" to define your note. Or you may elect to write them on the
Pan itself in non-permanent ink . The Steel of the Pan is High grade
Steel which is cut to length and Hand hammered for each note. Afterwards
the Pan is cured over an Open fire and then finally is sent to a Chroming
factory.
